Supporters say this spreads housing growth more fairly, while some local officials worry about losing control over development decisions in their districts.

NYC deli names sandwich after Bruce Blakeman as he vows to bring down sky-high cost of lunch (amedpost.com) β A Flushing, Queens deli has created "The Blakeman" turkey hero to honor Republican gubernatorial hopeful Bruce Blakeman, who stopped by Friday to spotlight rising lunch prices. During his Queens visit, he blamed energy and operating costs for expensive sandwiches and promised to lower everyday costs statewide if elected, while Democrats pushed back on his economic message.
