Council Member Adrienne Adams Joins QCYD at May Meeting

Youth arm of Queens County organization hosts monthly general membership meeting in Southeast Queens

Queens County Young Democrats (QCYD) hosted its monthly meeting on May 16th at Sangria Tapas Bar and Restaurant. Council Member Adrienne Adams was the featured speaker, updating members on the happenings within the New York City Council and discussing the need for more women running for office. QCYD was also joined by Hersh Parekh, Director of Downstate Regional Affairs for Governor Andrew Cuomo, and Dermot Smyth, Queens Political Action Coordinator of United Federation of Teachers (UFT).
