Cultural Collaborative Jamaica Salutes Hometown Heroes

Cultural Collaborative Jamaica, under the leadership of Tyra Emerson, executive director, and the JAMS Planning committee accomplished another successful year of the annual JAMS Festival.

" We invite you to celebrate with us on Thursday, October 5 as we honor hometown heroes: India L. Sneed, Esq.; Thomas Crater, publisher, The New York Page; and Mohammed Fakrul Islam.

The wrap up will be held at the Hall of Fame Studios Multi-Media, 89-37 164th Street, Jamaica, NY 11432.

The evening will offer an art exhibit, refreshments and music. "Stop by, network, see some familiar faces and meet new people," says Emerson.
