OSHA 10 Construction Training Classes in Queens & the 5 Boroughs

Get Your OSHA 10 Hour training this week. Start Training and Start Working!

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration known as (OSHA) was established by Congress created to assure safe and healthful working conditions for working men and women by setting and enforcing standards and by providing training, outreach, education and assistance.

The OSHA Outreach Training Program (also known as OSHA 10) provides training for workers and employers on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in workplaces. The program also provides information regarding workers' rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint. This is a voluntary program and does not meet training requirements for any OSHA standards. In several states including NY state, the program is a requirement for workers employed on many construction sites including schools, municipalities, government, etc. projects.

Without this training, you cannot be hired in the construction industry by most employers. The course is offered by trained, authorized instructors over a two day period, five hours each day with a break. The course costs $135 if you pay ahead of time, or $150 if you pay at the door. These courses are held every weekend (Saturday and Sunday from 9am-3pm in Long Island City Queens) by OSHA 10 NY (www.osha10ny.com)
