QUEENS, NY — A person was struck by a subway train in Queens on Wednesday morning causing service disruptions and delays.
The incident happened near the Hunters Point Ave. station just before 6 a.m.
Following the incident, service between Queensboro Plaza and 34th Street-Hudson Yards was suspended in both directions.

Commuters were advised to take the E, F, M, N, R, or W trains to get into Manhattan.
As of 11:45 a.m., service on the 7 line has resumed in both directions.
