QUEENS, NY — Police are searching for a suspect who attacked an MTA conductor on a New York City subway train on Thursday.

Surveillance images of the suspect were released on Friday.

According to police, a 37-year-old man was looking out a window of the A train at the Beach 25th Street station when an unidentified suspect punched him in the face.

The punch caused the conductor's head to hit the cabin wall, police said.

The 37-year-old man was taken to St. John’s Episcopal Hospital in stable condition.

The suspect was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with graphic designs, a red undershirt, and blue jeans, police said.
