1 Man Apprehended After Theft Of More Than $1,500 In Shingles: PD
Police are still searching for the other 2 men who stole the roofing shingles from Home Depot in Riverhead, authorities say.
RIVERHEAD, NY — One man was arrested after the theft of more than $1,500 in roofing shingles from Home Depot in Riverhead in October— and authorities are still looking for two others, police said.
According to Riverhead Town Police, on October 16 at 12:58 p.m., three men entered the Home Depot located on Old Country Road and stole the shingles, valued at $1,515.31. Riverhead Town Police detectives investigated the case and determined the identity of the three perpetrators, authorities said.
On Friday, Riverhead Police, with the help of special agents from Homeland Security, arrested Miles A. Connors, 38, of the United Kingdom and charged him with fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony, police said.

The investigation is still ongoing as to the whereabouts of the two other identified males, police said.
