16-Year-Old Charged With Felony Criminal Mischief: Police
He was breaking windows at the Little Flower Children's Services facility, as well as car windows, police say.
RIVERHEAD, NY — A 16-year-old was arrested after he was found breaking windows in buildings and cars at the Little Flower Children's Services facility in Wading River Friday, police said.
According to Riverhead Town Police, the teen was charged with second-degree criminal mischief, a felony.
On Friday at 5:43 p.m. officers were asked to respond to the Little Flower facility on North Wading River Road regarding a report of a disturbance on the property, police said.

Officers observed the juvenile male breaking numerous windows of Little Flower residential and school buildings as well as breaking the windshields of two Little Flower-owned vehicles before being apprehended, police said.
The Riverhead Police Department's detective division was notified and responded to assist in the investigation, police said.

The teen was transported to Riverhead Police Department headquarters where he was processed and held for arraignment, police said.
