19-Year-Old Stole $8K From BJ's While Working As Gas Attendant: PD
He's facing a felony charge, police say.
MASTIC, NY — A 19-year-old from Mastic was arrested after stealing about $8,000 from BJ's Wholesale Club in Riverhead while employed as a gas station attendant last year, police said.
According to Riverhead Town police, Wilmer O. Genis Perez was arrested Tuesday at 10:19 a.m. and charged with third-degree grand larceny, a felony.
Police said they received a report that the money was stolen between May 2023 and June 2023. Genis Perez was processed and arraigned at Riverhead Justice Court.
