2 Injured In Assaults At Local Business: Police
The two people were at different locations on the business' property, police say.

RIVERHEAD, NY — Two employees at a local nursery were reportedly assaulted early Saturday, police said.
According to the Riverhead Police Department, the incident took place at 12:22 a.m. when authorities received a call from employees/residents of Half Hollow Nursery, stating that an employee/resident had been injured in what appeared to have been an assault and was in need of medical assistance.
While police officers were investigating, a second 911 call was received from someone else at Half Hollow Nursery stating that they had another employee/resident that appeared to have been injured in an assault and was in need of medical attention, police said.

The injured were found at two different locations on the business' properties; both were transported by Riverhead Town Volunteer Ambulance Corps to Peconic Bay Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
