2 Teens Charged With Burglarizing 2 Riverhead Businesses: PD
The 14-year-olds had run off from the Timothy Hill Ranch in Riverhead, police say.
RIVERHEAD, NY — Two 14-year-olds who ran off from the Timothy Hill Ranch in Riverhead were arrested and charged with burglarizing two local businesses, police said.
On Friday at around 8:16 a.m., Riverhead police said they were notified about a prior burglary at Crystal Garden on Old Country Road. During the investigation, officers learned that a second burglary had taken place at Maggie Nails, also on Old Country Road, police said.
The teens were identified as suspects and then arrested; one teen was charged with two counts of third-degree burglary and the second was charged with one count of third-degree burglary, police said.

They were taken to Riverhead police headquarters for processing and released on appearance tickets to appear in Suffolk County Family Court at a later date, police said.
