5 Reasons Ruth Pollack Deserves Your Vote for Town Council

Riverhead Patch has asked all the candidates for Town Assessor, Town Board and Supervisor to write up five reasons why they deserve your vote next Tuesday, Nov. 8. Here is what independent candidate Ruth Pollack wants you to know:

1. Ruth M. Pollack is taking the money out of politics.

-- Ruth will only take contributions of $100 or less.

-- Ruth will not be bought.

-- Ruth will work for the people, not for special interests.

2. Ruth M. Pollack will do a referendum, if necessary, to
lower residential and government electric rates by establishing
a Riverhead Power Authority. 

3. Ruth M. Pollack will stand up, fight for and protect the people’s
right to know the business of their government, including all parts of the BUDGET.  

--Ruth is a native of Riverhead and not part of a secret clique. No other candidate has her skills. 

4. Ruth M. Pollack will use her 25 years of advocacy skills and success to make the Town Animal Shelter humane, safe and fully staffed NOW and move it away from the Town Dump into public view and access. 

5. Ruth M. Pollack will use her skills and creativity to bring good jobs to Riverhead.
