6 Dirt Bikes Stolen From Riverhead Property: Police
Mechanical tools and landscaping equipment were also stolen, police say.
RIVERHEAD, NY — Six dirt bikes were reported stolen in Riverhead Saturday, police said.
According to Riverhead police, a 911 call came in about 11:05 a.m. about the bikes, stolen from a storage container on a Sound Avenue property.
Further investigation revealed that a mechanic shop on the property was also broken into, and a variety of mechanical tools and landscaping equipment were stolen, police said.
