Beloved Chiropractor Passes Away, Friends Create Fund For Son

AQUEBOGUE, NY — The North Fork community is mourning a man who touched their lives — and raising funds to help the son he left behind.

"Dr. Marcell Frey died very suddenly on Sept. 8, 2018," a GoFundMe page, 'Marcell Frey Memorial Fund,' created by Dr. Jeffrey Nazar, his colleague, said.

"Dr. Frey was an important part of the Aquebogue Health Chiropractic family for over 18 years. In honor of him and his service to his patients and the community we have started a fund to celebrate his life and support his son Julian in his future educational endeavors," the page said.

Patients and friends grieved their loss: "Dr. Frey was not just someone who fixed my pain, he was my friend, as well. He was always there to listen and I always left his office smiling. He will be missed greatly," said Melissa Messina.
