State Recognizes McGann-Mercy Scholar-Athletes
McGann-Mercy was presented with an award for being one of two schools on Long Island named 2010-2011 Scholar/Athlete Team School of Distinction
At an athletic council meeting on Oct. 12, was presented with an award for being one of two schools on Long Island named a 2010-2011 Scholar/Athlete Team School of Distinction by New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA.) This honor means that all McGann-Mercy Varsity Teams qualified in the NYSPHSAA Scholar/Athlete Team Award Program, earning a 90 percent GPA or better during the past school year.
