“These meetings will allow community members to stay informed of what my office’s priorities and accomplishments are and have an opportunity to discuss issues in their neighborhoods,” Sini said. “I encourage everyone to attend and participate in these conversations so we can work together to ensure the safety and well-being of our communities.”

“The Verdict” meetings are open to the public and provide an opportunity for residents of to learn about the mission of the DA's office, what Sini has accomplished during his tenure so far, and what the priorities are moving forward, he said.

If you are a community leader or group who is interested in hosting “The Verdict,” contact the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office by calling 631-853-5602 or emailing DACommunity@suffolkcountyny.gov.

“The Verdict”, Sini said, was created with the help of the district attorney’s community advisory board, "a diverse group of residents from across Suffolk County who are trusted leaders in their communities."

The advisory board, Sini said, informs him and staff members about issues affecting residents of the communities they represent and presents ideas on how to address those issues.
