Dozens of Photos: Riverhead Chalk Artists Hit Street Fair

The East End Arts Council on Sunday held its 15th annual Community Mosaic Festival, a street fair surrounding dozens of local artists creating works of chalk art along a stretch of Riverhead's downtown.

Inspirations varied from animals, religion and patriotism to sock puppets, video games and cartoons.

The event also featured an array of local street vendors and musical performances by students and affiliates of the East End Arts Council.
