Hunter Safety Course: Guns

This free course is required for young hunters who wish to apply for a hunting license. This class teaches safe firearms handling, responsibility, ethical hunting and hunting skills. Pre-course work is required and space is limited. Call for additional information.

 A parent or legal guardian must accompany and register students 16 years of age and younger in person. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. This program is for ages 11 and up; a license will be administered to residents ages 12 and higher.

Dress for outdoor activities. Bring pencils and paper, and lunch to class on both days.
