Live At The Indigo, this year's exciting new addition to Jazz On The Vine continues the next two Thursdays, April 14 & 21, and features The Jerry Weldon Trio. Jerry Weldon, a tenor saxophonist just off tour with Harry Connick Jr, has been described as "A thoughtful soloist whose subtle swing has plenty of fiber" by Ira Gitler in The Biographical Encyclopedia of Jazz. Jerry is a veteran of the New York Jazz Scene, his résumé reading like a virtual "Who's Who of Jazz."
Admission to the show is $10, and includes one (1) drink. $1 of each admission will be donated to the East End Arts Council. A Bistro 72 prix fixe dinner menu that includes a cocktail or glass of wine and admission to the show will be available, along with a la carte selections. Guests staying at the Hotel Indigo are welcome too, so make an overnight of it.
