Young guitarists, bass players, drummers, horn, woodwind, piano players and violinists can attend this intensive music program where even music theory becomes fun! All instruction, taught by Billy Johnson, is hands-on in the Master Class format, where kids will learn as they play and play as they learn. By being part of a “group” (3-5 musicians) as well as a “Big Band”, campers will gain an understanding of each others’ instruments, a skill necessary for any well-rounded musician. Included is an introduction to the EEAC Recording Studio. Campers will demonstrate their newly learned skills in a performance for family and friends on the last day of camp. This program is for children ages 9-14 years with one to two years experience.
