Fight Breaks Out At Splish Splash Water Park, Authorities Respond

CALVERTON, NY — A "large fight" reportedly broke out at Splish Splash Water Park on Saturday, officials said.

Riverhead Town police confirmed that they were called to a "disturbance" investigation, a "possible fight", at the water park, located on Splish Splash Drive in Calverton.

Splish Splash responded to a request for comment from Patch: "A group of young people decided to engage in inappropriate behavior inside the park on Saturday. Their actions disrupted the park experience for our guests and violated our park policies. We have absolutely no tolerance for inappropriate behavior. Safety for our guests, and our team members, is our foremost priority. Unruly behavior will not be tolerated," a spokesperson from Splish Splash Water Park said.
