Fire Quickly Extinguished At Inn And Spa At East Wind: FD

WADING RIVER, NY — Emergency responders quickly extinguished a fire reported at the Inn and Spa at East Wind on Thursday afternoon, officials said.

According to scanner reports, the fire broke out at about 1:27 p.m. at East Wind, locate on Route 25A in Wading River.

The Wading River Fire Department was on the scene, as was the Riverhead Town fire marshal.

Officials at the scene told Patch that the fire started in a dryer; there was no damage and there were no injuries, they said.
