Former Riverhead Walmart Employee Steals More Than $10K in Merchandise: Police
The woman worked with others to pilfer the goods without paying, police said.

A Riverhead woman was busted last week for stealing more than $10,000 worth of merchandise from the Route 58 Walmart where she worked, police said.
According to Riverhead Town Police, Bianca N. Roberson, 24, was arrested at 5 p.m. on January 26 and charged with grand larceny in the third degree following a several-months’ long investigation conducted by Riverhead detectives.
Walmart’s asset protection department contacted the police department to report Roberson, a former employee of the store, located on Old Country Road in Riverhead, police said.

Roberson stole on numerous occasions, working in concert with numerous subjects to remove merchandise from the store, police said.
Over a month’s long period of time, Roberson allowed $10,782.32 worth of Walmart merchandise to exit the store without having been paid for, police said.

Roberson was processed and taken to Riverhead Justice Court for arraignment, police said. The investigation into the others involved is ongoing, police said.
