Gas Station Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket Thief Nabbed: Cops
He reportedly threw a brick through the glass door of the gas station before making off with the scratch off lottery tickets, police say.

RIVERHEAD, NY — A burglar who stole scratch-off lottery tickets from a Wading River gas station has been apprehended, police said.
According to Riverhead Town Police, Aaron Faria, 43, was arrested on Friday at 10:35 a.m. and charged with one count of third degree burglary and held for arraignment, police said.
Following an investigation conducted by the police department's detective division, Faria was arrested in connection with the previous burglary, which was reported on Nov. 11 at the Speedway gas Station located on Route 25A in Wading River, police said.

According to Riverhead Town Police, the incident took place at 4:13 a.m.when authorities received a report regarding an alarm activation at the gas station.
Upon arrival, officers discovered the glass broken out of the west side door, police said.

Surveillance footage from the location showed a male exiting a dark colored pickup truck and proceeding to throw a brick through the glass door, police said.
Once inside, the thief removed a quantity of New York State scratch-off lottery tickets and fled the scene, police said.
A New York State Police K-9 unit initially assisted with a track, with no success, police said.
