Man Busted for Driving While Impaired by Alcohol: Police
The driver was pulled over for failure to stop at a red light, police said.
FLANDERS, NY — A Shirley man was busted after he was caught driving while ability impaired by alcohol, police said.
According to New York State Police, Tyler A. Gaches, 21, was arrested on New Year's Day after being stopped for failure to stop at a red light on County Road 104 in Flanders.
He was charged with driving while ability impaired by alcohol after an investigation and standardized tests revealed him to be impaired, police said. Gaches is due to appear at Southampton Town Justice Court on January 23, police said.
