Man Hospitalized After Rollover Accident on LIE
The accident occurred on Wednesday night.

A Patchogue man was hospitalized after a rollover accident on the Long Island Expressway in Calverton on Wednesday night, according to Riverhead Town Police.
Police responded to the Exit 73 off ramp on a report of an accident at about 8:08 p.m.
Upon police arrival, they found that a 2002 Mercury Mountaineer driven by John Parry III, 26, had crashed into the shoulder of the roadway, overturning several times before stopping in the median between the eastbound exit ramps of Exit 72 and Exit 73, according to police.

Parry was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital by the Suffolk County Police Department’s Aviation Unit for injuries later determined to be non-life threatening.
