Man Killed In Jameport Residence Was Live-In Home Health Aide: PD

He was killed Monday night, police say.

JAMESPORT, NY — The man killed in a Jamesport residence Monday night was a live-in home health aide, police said.

No other details have been released, police said.

According to Suffolk County Police, a 911 call came in at 11:43 p.m. from a residence on Herricks Lane. Riverhead Town Police officers responded to the call and found Conrad Gowan, 36, inside with a sharp force injury, police said.

Gowan, who lived in the home, was transported by the Riverhead Volunteer Ambulance Corps to Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
