Man Smashes Window, Windshield In Riverhead: Police

He's facing felony charges, police say.

RIVERHEAD, NY — A Riverhead man was arrested after he smashed both the window of a home and the windshield of a car, police said.

Eddie Perry, 33, was arrested on Jan. 18 on Pulaski Street in Riverhead and charged with two counts of third-degree criminal mischief, a felony, police said.

Police were called to a residence on Pulaski Street after a complaint stating that Perry threw the cinder block through the front window of the home, police said. In addition, authorities later found that he'd thrown a Belgian block through the windshield of a 2005 Honda Civic that was parked in front of the home, police said.

Perry was apprehended a short time later, processed, and released on an appearance ticket, police said.
