Man Who Chased Person With Knife Caught With Quantity Of Cocaine: PD
He was arrested Sunday night after the Quiogue incident, police say.
QUIOGUE, NY — A Hampton Bays man was arrested after he reportedly chased someone with a kitchen knife and was found with cocaine, police said.
According to Southampton Town police, the incident took place Sunday night at 11:43 p.m. A report came in about a man with a knife on East Lane in Quiogue, police said.
Officers arrived and determined that a dispute had occurred at that location resulting
in the arrest of Pedrom Samaniego, 34, of Hampton Bays; he was also found with a quantity of cocaine, police said.

Samaniego was arrested and charged with second-degree menacing, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanors; he was held for morning arraignment, police said.
