Music Abounds At Free Riverhead Summer Concerts

Soft summer nights, with the sun setting in a blaze of color and the strains of music drifting on the night air. Nothing captures the magic of summer nights better than a free concert. Country Western Night

On Thursday, June 14, Blu Chip Marketing presents a free County Western Music night, complete with line dancing and country music on the outdoor patio of the in Riverhead from 7 p.m. till 10 p.m. Sponsored by My Country 96.1. For more information call 631-727-2733.

Classic Car Cruise Nights

Popular Classic Car Cruise Nights are back for 2012.

Every Thursday night through October, classic car enthusiasts will head to the Peconic Riverfront in downtown Riverhead, to enjoy checking out some of the most classic rides along with some great free music. The event takes place every Thursday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Townscape Series

Held behind the East End Arts building, the popular Townscape series kicked off last week with a performance by Riverhead High School musicians and will continue every Friday this summer through August at 7 p.m.

Riverhead Golden Oldies Show

The Riverhead Business Improvement District presents a "Golden Oldies" show on July 21 (raindate July 22) featuring The Acchords at 5:30 p.m.
