Over 10 Shots Fired at Riverhead Home With Three Adults, 4-Year-Old Child Inside

An unknown person fire more than 10 shots at a Riverhead home that was occupied by three adults and a 4-year-old child Wednesday night, according to Riverhead Town Police.

Police responded to the home on Hamilton Avenue on reports of shots fired at the residence at about 11:22 p.m.

The homeowner reported that shots were fired at the home and several rounds entered the living space of the home, according to police.

There was no reported injuries at the scene, police said.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call the Riverhead Town Police Department at 631-727-4500.
