Police: Drunk Sag Harbor Man Drove Nearly 100 MPH on Sunrise

Incident occurred Sunday.

A 21-year-old Sag Harbor man faces a DWI charge after state police say he was drunk when he sped by an officer at nearly 100 mph on Sunrise Highway.

Oscar Reinoso is charged with aggravated DWI following the incident Sunday east of Exit 63 on Sunrise in Westhampton, police said.

Reinoso was driving 97 mph when he passed a marked state police vehicle that was parked on the shoulder conducting a traffic stop, police said.

Reinoso was pulled over and an investigation revealed that he was intoxicated, police said. He was released on traffic tickets returnable to Southampton Town Justice Court on April 6.
