Police: Riverhead Man Arrested on Drug Charges After Bust
The arrest was made on Tuesday.

A Riverhead man was arrested on several drug charges after a drug bust at his home on Tuesday, according to Riverhead Town Police.
The East End Drug Task force, in cooperation with the Riverhead Town Police, executed a search warrant at 641 Doctors Path, Apartment 33, police said.
The Task Force was assisted by Riverhead Town Police Department, Riverhead Town Police Department K-9 and Suffolk County Police Emergency Services.

The search was the result of an investigation into drug sales at that home, according to police..
Task Force members recovered quantities of crack cocaine, heroin, and drug paraphernalia including scales and packaging material, according to police.

Rakeem Miles, 23, a resident of the home, was arrested at the scene, police said.
He is charged with: two counts of third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (intent to sell), fifth degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and second degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia (scales), according to police.
Miles is to be arraigned in Riverhead Town Justice Court on Wednesday.
