Police Seeking Woman Who Robbed Riverhead Bank
The robbery occurred on Thursday morning.

Riverhead Police are seeking a woman who robbed a Riverhead bank on Thursday morning.
Police responded to Suffolk County National Bank at 4 West Second St. shortly after 10:30 a.m. on report of a robbery, police said.
Police said a woman entered the bank and handed a teller a note demanding money.

She was given an unknown amount of money and then fled the bank on foot southbound, police said.
Bank personnel described the woman as 5-foot-2 to 5-foot-5 with a medium build, wearing a black jacket with a grey hooded sweatshirt underneath, blue jeans, black hat and sunglasses.

Police searched the area with K-9 and aviation units, but did not find the woman.
