'Rachael Ray Show' Films Segment at Riverhead's Goodale Farms
It was lights, camera, action at the farm on Thursday as the show filmed a segment on the farm to table movement.
RIVERHEAD, NY - A taste of Hollywood came to Riverhead Thursday as the "Rachael Ray Show" sent a film crew to Goodale Farms to tape a segment on the farm to table movement.
Food critic and YouTube celebrity Daym Drops, a Rachael Ray food correspondent, had crew and Goodale Farms staffers in stitches as he joked about his response to farm life, keeping up a steady stream of hilarious quips about milking a cow and learning to bottle milk, as well as gathering eggs from chickens.
Christianna Van de Wetering, manager at the farm, which is located on Main Road, explained that the "Rachael Ray" segment would focus on healthy eating and farm fresh milk, goat cheese and produce, all of which are offered at Goodale Farms.

"It's exciting," Van de Wetering said. "It's great for Hal. He puts a lot of work into this farm and I'm glad to see him get this kind of response."
Staffer Katie Fals also showed a visitor the baby goats on the farm, born only four days earlier.
