Riverhead High School Hosts College Fair
The annual college fair took place earlier this week.

The annual Riverhead High School College Fair was held for seniors earlier this week in the Riverhead High School gym.
Representatives from approximately 125 colleges were available with information and handouts for interested seniors.
“The Fall College Fair for high school seniors was a huge hit. This year we had the most colleges ever -- with a showing of over 125 different representatives from four-year colleges, public and private universities, community colleges, trade schools, and the armed services,” noted RHS Guidance Director Charles Gassar.

RHS Guidance Counselor Anastasia Cobis brought her iPad to the College Fair to help seniors find out if the colleges they took literature from had the their desired major.
“Dozens of high school seniors were able to speak one-on-one with each representative and find out a little bit about what they have to offer,” noted Mrs. Cobis. “As a guidance counselor, I love to see our students networking and coming up with their own plan for what it is they want to do after graduation.”
