Riverhead Man Charged With Driving On Drugs After Crash: Police
The crash took place on Flanders Road Tuesday afternoon, police say.
FLANDERS, NY — A Riverhead man was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs after a crash on Flanders Road Tuesday afternoon, police said.
According to Southampton Town Police, a call came in about a crash at 3:15 p.m.; Daniel Schilpp, 34, was arrested and charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, a felony, due to a prior conviction, police said.
Schilpp was processed at Southampton Town Police headquarters and held for morning arraignment, police said.

Schilpp was also arrested in 2015 and charged with DWI after driving while intoxicated in front of Cutchogue East Elementary School, police said.
