“This is my eighth time directing students at the Riverhead Middle School, and I am happy to have such a cohesive group of student performers in the cast and crew,” show director and teacher, Edward Tholl Jr. said.
Due to construction taking place at the Riverhead Middle School, performances will take place at the Pulaski Street School auditorium, which is being transformed into an Old English town by crew members and adults.

Under a collaborative production staff, over 35 students are working hard to hone their dramatic skills and develop their characters.
Students in grades seven and eight appear side by side, with parents, professional actors, and community members mentoring these fine actors and actresses.
Scrooge will be played by Kyle Frost; Bob Cratchit will be played by Jacob Raynor; and the ghosts of the past and present will be played by Samantha Bronjes, Marissa Tedesco.
”’Scrooge‘ has been a difficult production to put on this year,” Skura said. “The students worked extremely hard to capture the full meaning of the show.”
