Riverhead Students Say 'No!' To Drugs

Helping kids for decades, the 33rd Annual Riverhead Community Awareness Program's "Say No To Drugs March" takes place Friday.

RIVERHEAD, NY — Even the youngest can learn the life-saving lesson of saying "no" to drugs.

Wearing matching anti-drug shirts, Riverhead Central School District students from Pulaski Street Elementary School will take to the streets for the 33rd annual "Say No to Drugs March" on Friday from 9:15 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Sponsored by the Riverhead Community Awareness Program, the march is the culmination of CAP’s annual anti-drug program, which provides students with education about, and skills for, leading a drug-free life, a release from the district said.
