Search On For 2 Teens Missing From Riverhead: Police

RIVERHEAD, NY — The search is on for two teens missing from the Timothy Hill Children's Ranch in Riverhead.

Marcire Springfield and Nasir Scruggs left the facility, located on Middle Road, together on Sunday night at about 10 p.m. without permission, by unknown means and with an unknown destination, Riverhead Town police said.

No foul play is suspected, police added.

Marcire Springfield is a 19-year-old Black male, 5-feet, 7-inches and 146 lbs., with brown eyes and black, braided hair; he was last seen wearing all black clothing and black shoes, police said.

Nasir Scruggs is a 17-year-old Black male, 5-feet, 10-inches and 134 lbs., with brown eyes and black, braided hair; he was also last seen wearing all black clothing and black shoes, police said.

Nasir is a frequent runaway from the Timothy Hill Childrens Ranch and has been known to frequent the Nassau County and Queens, NY areas in the past, police said.
