RIVERHEAD, NY — The search is on for a pair who stole more than $1,000 in merchandise from a Riverhead store last year, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Riverhead Town Police Department detectives are

seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the two people who stole Husqvarna equipment from Lowe’s Home Improvement, located on Old Country Road, on July 31 at about noon, authorities said.

The merchandise was valued at $1,156, police said.
