State Police Report: Five DWI Arrests, Two Arrests For Unlawful Possession Of Marijuana

- Juan Palacios, 29, of Flanders, was arrested for felony DWI following a traffic stop on Old Country Road at the intersection with Doctors Path in Riverhead on Monday, Oct. 13. Investigation revealed Palacios to be intoxicated. Palacios processed and held for arraignment in the Town of Riverhead Court.
- An 18-year-old Flanders man and a 20-year-old Riverhead man were arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana following a stop for a seatbelt violation on CR-94 north of traffic circle in Riverside on Monday, Oct. 13. They were both issued appearance tickets returnable to the Southampton Town Court on Wednesday, Oct. 22.
- A 22-year-old Mount Sinai woman, was arrested on Thursday, Oct. 16 for unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on CR-51 south of Speonk-Riverhead Road, in Northampton. She was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Southampton Town Court on Monday, Oct. 20.
- Ronald A. Landaverde, 22, of Brentwood, was arrested on a DWI charge following a traffic stop on St-27 east of Exit 62 in Speonk on Thursday, Oct. 16. Investigation revealed Landaverde to be intoxicated. He was processed and released on traffic tickets returnable to the Southampton Town Court on Wednesday, Nov. 5.
- Alyssa A. Martin, 27, of Manorville, NY, was arrested for DWI after being involved in a property damage auto accident on ST-27 east of exit 65, Hampton Bays, on Friday, Oct. 17. Investigation revealed Martin to be intoxicated. She was processed and released on traffic tickets returnable to Southampton Town Court on Wednesday, Oct. 22.
- Marvin E. Setino-Chinchilla, 40, of Riverhead, was arrested on a DWI charge on Saturday, Oct. 18 following a traffic stop on Roanoke Ave. at the intersection with Pulaski St. in Riverhead. Investigation by Troopers revealed Setino-Chinchilla to be intoxicated. Setino-Chinchilla was processed and released on traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Riverhead Court on Wednesday, Oct. 29.
- Perfecto DeJesus, 46, of Hampton Bays, was arrested on a DWI charge following a traffic stop on North Road north of Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays, on Sunday, Oct. 19. Investigation by a trooper revealed DeJesus to be intoxicated. He was processed and released on traffic tickets returnable to the Southampton Town Court on Wednesday, Oct 29.
