Let these words above slowly sink into your conscious. It is an amazing description of God's ability to work within.
Yet so often, our focus is mainly on what we want God to do around us, like fix this problem or change this situation. But he invites us to think bigger - he wants to change us.
The Holy Spirit has the power to transform our lives. We must remember however, that working change within can be a slow process. Spiritual fruit needs to grow and mature.
God will never give up on us and that is why patience and faith is so important when we don't see results right away. Sometimes God gives us the acorns needed for change when we pray for the mighty oak. Remember it may not make sense to you, but God knows what he is doing.
God gives you wisdom (acorns) in order to bring increase (mighty oak) in your life.
