Thief Burglarizes Jamesport Gas Station, Steals Cigarettes: Police

RIVERHEAD, NY — A Jamesport gas station was burglarized early Saturday, police said.

According to Riverhead Town police, a report came in from an employee at the Valero station, located on Main Road, regarding a burglary. An officer discovered a broken front glass door to the establishment, police said.

Authorities determined that around 3 a.m., a male wearing dark clothing and orange gloves entered the establishment and removed cigarettes, police said.
