Town Of Riverhead To Host 17th Annual Snapper Tournament

The Town of Riverhead will host their 17th Annual Snapper Tournament on Saturday, Sept. 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Peconic River Front.

The focus of this tournament is to get yourth and adults involved in fishing and to raise money for the Recreation Department’s Scholarship Fund.

Prizes include a Rod/Reel, which will go to the first place winner in each division.

Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in each division.

T-shirts are given to the first 100 registrants.

On-site registration will begin at the Town Dock at 10:00am. The tournament begins at 11:00am.

Chinese Auction for prizes donated by local merchants will follow the tournament.
