Wading River CVS Burglarized: Police

WADING RIVER, NY — The Wading River CVS was burglarized early Wednesday, police said.

According to Riverhead Town police, the incident took place at 12:13 a.m. at the CVS, located on Route 25A. Police received a call for an alarm at the store and patrol officers discovered that an unknown male had entered the front of the store, removed cash, then fled the scene, authorities said.

Riverhead detectives responded; the investigation is ongoing and anyone with additional information is asked to call 631-727-4500 x 312; all calls will be kept confidential.
