Woman Arrested After Riverhead Stabbing: Police
Another woman was stabbed in the arm and had injuries to her hand, police say.
RIVERHEAD, NY — A woman was arrested after a stabbing in Riverhead Thursday night, police said.
Riverhead Town police said they responded to a report regarding a knife assault at about 7:15 p.m. at a residence in the Osborn Avenue area.
Officers found a woman with a stab wound to her right arm and injuries to her left hand, police said. Another female, the suspect, was also located at the scene, police said. The Riverhead Volunteer Ambulance Corps responded and took the injured woman to Peconic Bay Medical Center for treatment, police said.

The knife reportedly used in the stabbing was recovered at the scene, police said.
Kiyana Wilson, 24, of Riverhead, was arrested and charged with one count of second-degree assault, one count of fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and one count of second-degree menacing, police said. She was processed and arraigned, police said.
