Woman Intoxicated By Drugs Crashed In Hospital Parking Lot: Cops

She was also found to have cocaine and Zolpidem, police say.

GREENPORT, NY — A woman was charged with driving while intoxicated, drugs, after a "minor" MVA at the Eastern Long Island Hospital parking lot, police said.

According to Southold Town Police, Ann Reichert, 50, of Putnam Valley, NY was arrested on Saturday at 7:07 p.m. in the ELIH parking lot and charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, and seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.

Police responded to the minor MVA and found Reichert "to be intoxicated by drugs," police said.

Reichert was also found to be in possession of cocaine and Zolpidem, which she did not have a prescription for, police said.

Reichert was arrested and transported to Southold Police headquarters to await morning arraignment, police said.
