The store will be licensed to sell any new Mac computers and iPods—and he hopes to start selling iPads in the future as well.

Belchou repairs computers both in-store and on-location. "We've worked with companies as far away as Philidelphia," he said.

The most common issues DoctorMac "treats" with home computers and laptops are faulty hard drives and machines in need of tune-ups.

"It's important for everyone to get a tune-up once in a while," he said. "Otherwise computers get sluggish."

Why come to Irvington for your Apple needs?

"We provide personalized service at a reasonable price," Belchou said.

Expect to see DoctorMac open for business at 64 Main St. in Irvington by mid-to-late July.
