Bead Party at Woodlands Temple

Woodlands' Social Action Committee is again holding a Bead Party to sell wonderful beaded jewelry made by
impoverished women in Uganda trying to support their families.  The money raised will be returned to the beaders and help them receive medical care, food, housing, etc.  It's a win/win situation!

The Party is at Woodlands on Sunday, December 4, from 3-5 pm and has a spotlight on AIDS in Uganda this year. The jewelry is beautiful, priced right ($5-$25), and perfect for holiday gift-giving (teachers, babysitters, family, etc.). Loose beads will also be available and we will repeating our successful make-your-own bead workshop for pre-teens, teens  and adults (if you have tools, bring them; if not,
use ours).
